The Nate Holden Performing Arts Center is dedicated to bringing a voice and a stage to some of the most talented performance artists in the Los Angeles area. From the building to the performances within, the Nate Holden Center is beautiful, and you should be aware of what shows are going on when so that you do not miss out on such an experience.

Designed by FSY Architects, the Nate Holden Center is known for its large and very adequate facilities that are used for many different things, and for its design it has won several architectural awards. The theater consists of 402 seats and can be configured for an orchestra pit, while the blue room is a rehearsal hall and studio that is also used for community meetings.

The extensive performing arts center also includes a café gallery, which also includes a loft at the mezzanine level, a 2,000 square foot cabaret space, and a theater balcony with 88 seats, from which you get a great vantage point of the action. If you get the chance to go backstage, you can see changing rooms, the prop room, and the loading dock, providing a fascinating glimpse into the inner workings of a theater production.

Currently, there are no featured events at the Nate Holden Performing Arts Center, but there are always local, national, and international performances that need a stage, so it is only a matter of time before you are heading out to the Holden. Tickets can be purchased at the NHPAC website at nhpac.com, or at the box office in the lobby. However if you want to make sure that you will get in, go ahead and purchase online. The Holden is a state-of-the-art facility that serves Los Angeles well in providing an outlet for performing arts. The center is located at 4718 W Washington Blvd.

J.R.’s Comedy Club in Valencia, Calif., presents a special night of comedy on November 13, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. A nationally acclaimed comedian will take the stage at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center at College of the Canyons to help raise funds for a Santa Clarita, Calif., couple who adopted a baby boy in 2008 and are now involved in an emotionally draining and financially devastating contested adoption.

The comedian, who will be announced in July, has been named Comedian of the Year by American Comedy Awards on ABC, appeared in HBO’s Comic Relief, Showtime’s Comedy All-Stars, and numerous other television shows. He also received an XM Radio Big Schtick Award for Most Popular Comedy.

The Baby Bryan Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was formed not only to assist the adoptive couple in their fight to keep their son, but also to raise awareness as to the potential complications of open adoption and the emotional and financial impact of wrongfully contested adoptions.

To date, the couple have paid well over $100,000 in legal defense fees while the birth parents, who reside in Ohio and claim the adoption was a conspiracy headed by California Governor Arnold Schwarzeneggar, are receiving finanicial assistance from the state of California.

In 1926, it opened as simply the Oriental Theatre. It was one of the beautiful movie palaces erected during that time and was designed to give visitors a luxurious experience during their time inside the theatre. The former Iroquois Theatre was previously erected at the same location but was destroyed in a fire in 1903. For over a decade, after showing exploitation type movies, the Oriental Theatre was closed. The original architects George and Cornelius Rapp also build the Chicago Theatre. In 1990, the Oriental Theatre was restored and became known as The Ford Center for the Performing Arts Oriental Theatre.

Many notable performances by legendary entertainers have been staged at the Ford Center of Performing Arts including Danny Kaye, Al Jolson, Cab Calloway, George Burns, Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald. Additionally, many noteworthy productions have been featured at the Ford Center of Performing Arts also. The fantastic musical hit Ragtime signaled the reopening of the theater in 1999 and was a successful premiere. So whether you’re looking for tickets to upcoming events such as The Addams Family or 101 Dalmations, you can find many of these events at the Ford Center of Performing Arts.

Patrons of all ages over 5 are allowed in the theater but must have a ticket to enter. Once inside, seating choices abound. From the balcony down to the tiered mezzanine, there are ample views available with excellent sites to the stage from each seat. To maximize your experience at the Ford Center of Performing Arts, you can arrive 30 minutes before a show for house seating. Be sure to leave sound recorders and cameras at home as they are not allowed in the theatre at any time. Inb Performing Arts Center: IXS

The INB Performing Arts Center is the premier entertainment venue in the Spokane Region. It is owned and operated by the Spokane Public Facilities District. The venue has capacity of 2,700-seats.

A legacy from Spokane’s World Fair in 1974, this wonderful facility has hosted everyone from Jerry Seinfeld to “Phantom of the Opera”. The elegant INB Performing Arts Center is adaptable for symphony concerts, ballet, grand opera, road shows, country and rock music spectaculars, musical stage productions, travelogues, conventions and lectures.

The INB Performing Arts Center has hosted a myriad of cultural events, Broadway shows, and rockin’ concerts. Everyone from Ani DiFranco to Phantom of the Opera to Jerry Seinfeld has graced the INB Performing Arts Center stage.

The INB Performing Arts Center was formerly the Spokane Opera House. This venue was created as a result of partnership of The Inland Northwest Bank with the Spokane Public Facilities District to present.. This wonderful partnership will maintain the splendid standard of the building. New restrooms and a new marquee are a few of the many changes that will be happening during this renovation thanks in part to the sponsorship of Inland Northwest Bank. INB Performing Arts Center will have a fresh face for all guests to enjoy with the renovation.

This outstanding venue is operating as a community facility. Home to the hub of Melbourne’s art and cultural precinct, the Victorian Arts Center is a popular spot for much of the performing arts in the city. This unique center consists of several concert venues and theatre halls that always has something exciting going on. The place is situated along the Yarra River in the Southgate area of Melbourne and also remains a landmark due to its breathtaking spire. The spire stands at a grand height of 162 meters and is an awesome sight to behold especially in the night when it is lit up.

A visit to the Victorian Art Center is a must if you are visiting the city. There are several buildings that form the Center. One of the main buildings is the popular Hamer Hall that will entrance you with its painted colour scheme that depicts gems and minerals of Australian origin. Don’t forget to look up whilst your walking through the lower sections of the hall to see a kaleidoscope of colourful hues as you gaze upon Sidney Nolan’s Paradise Garden images. In this hall, popular events like comedy shows, orchestral performances and concerts are held. The Black Box theatre is also found in the Hamer Hall where cabaret and other modern music performances, stand up comedians and interactive artwork amid other programs are held. Within the Hall, you can additionally check out the Alfred Brash SoundHouse or grab a bite at the EQ Cafébar.

There are 3 theatres found under the spire, of which the State Theatre is known to be one of the few theatres in the world that has such a large stage for performances.
